With all the amazing restaurants and catering services Take Five operates, there comes a great responsibility to ensuring everything is organised and running smoothly. This is when our General Manager Alexandra Truppe comes in.
Before moving to Bermuda in 2017 Alexandra worked as a consultant for aspiring restaurant owners entering the hospitality industry, as well as supporting existing entrepreneurs during their implementation or repositioning of their businesses. Her work focused on start-up consulting, funding and financing advice, business plan development, operational controlling and seminars and trainings.
Her development from a former waitress to a business consultant with a successfully completed international master’s degree in Business Administration makes her an expert who knows and understands the operational and financial side of any restaurant business. Through her many years of experience in different positions in the Food & Beverage industry from event catering and restaurant and hotel operations she has acquired priceless industry knowledge.
Ms. Truppe’s main focus in her role as General Manager of Take Five Ltd is to ensure an overall smooth operation of the restaurants Devil’s Isle and Village Pantry as well as the Catering division. She hires staff and makes sure everyone is trained on proper and legal alcoholic beverage service, kitchen safety techniques and understand health standards. She works closely with the accounts department when it comes to forecasting and controlling and manages the finances related to the whole process of purchasing.
