Mario Baptista takes on the responsibility as our Restaurant Manager at Village Pantry. With his extensive background and passion for hospitality, Mario ensures our guests enjoy outstanding dining experiences.

Mario’s journey in hospitality began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai. After which, having travelled and worked in various countries ranging from India to the UAE to Bermuda, Mario has had the opportunity to explore local cuisines; new restaurants and drinks along the way. His diverse background has equipped him with a deep understanding of the industry and a talent for creating memorable dining experiences.

In addition to his professional roles, Mario co-founded an organic homemade ice-cream and milkshake store in Mumbai. His entrepreneurial spirit and innovative approach are just a few reasons we’re excited to have him lead our team.
